I sold this in my Etsy store.

These earrings are made from a real mainspring pulled from a vintage watch. Each is carefully wrapped with wire and a pinhead-sized bit of special epoxy adhesive is applied to certain areas to make this piece secure. It’s hard to describe the color of these, it seems to change from a patinad copper to a dark steel. The faceted rondelle bead that nicely balances out the bottom is also of a curious color. Even though these earrings look dainty, they are durable — afterall, mechanical watchmakers strived to create an unbreakable mainspring with a lifetime guarantee.

Materials: silver plated earring hooks, earring backs, mainspring from an automatic watch, tarnish resistant wire, silver plated headpins, Czech glass beads, energy
